Project introduction
The Beamery has partnered with Jaha Homes to build this beautiful new home in Louisville, Kentucky featuring a variety of timber elements such as exterior porches, gable corbels and brackets, and canopies as well as interior trusses and beams made of reclaimed timber. The interior trusses are to be arced to match the exterior and in order to be of reclaimed material and keep the original, naturally aged face, we used a veneering process which involves slicing off the natural face of the timber and reapplying this to the crafted arcs.
